THANKS to everyone who came so early to 02
Last night. YOU made it fuckin cool!!...we didn’t expect such a full room of
good peoples…
And thanks
to friends who calmed me down while I was snorting ragesteam out my nostrils
afterwards….Yeah so anyone who saw the ‘altercation’ between me and the sound engineer
will be glad to know we kissed and made up later…. he even hugged me…and as I was
walking away he stopped me and said, “Mate…. I think your band’s wicked” and
shook my hand again.

the best thing was that… there was a lot of audience from the Iron Butterfly 60’s/70’s
generation…and while it was pretty cool to hear people liking what we do….. the
BEST thing was being told there were a few grumbling old men with fingers in
their ears complaining to one of our friends in the corner while we played… saying
“This just isn’t music!”. So YES!!!! Cos we all KNOW that when at least SOME older
folks are saying “This isn’t music” then that means you’re getting something
right!!
That made
my night.
And full
respect to Iron Butterfly who defy their age and physical condition to still be
rocking the free world in the way they know how.
